Mainly plants do not produce double flowers in nature. This can be occured when plant's cell have the same identity of three virtually genes and are all mutated. Which will cause plant able to produce a flower within a flower until cannot detect the smallest organs of the flower.

Usually the structure of regular flower would be compose of 4 whorls (or rings), Sepals Petals Stamens and Pistils. Sepals are the outermost present as a green leaf-like organ to support flower when were young. Petals are mainly organ that present a flower appearance. Stamens and Pistils are male and female pollen. Truely Double Flower must have all 4 whorls in each flower as pictures above. Then our Adenium flowers (Neo-Doxon) would be an Adenium Multilaminate Flower or Fully Overlapping Petals Flower rather than a truely double flower.

What's about Adenium Doxon? s we'd defined their name "Neo-Doxon". Word Doxon is given by Indonesian people in year 2007 to the first Adenium Doxon, named Dancing Lady that originate by Vietnamese Adenium grower. Doxon is mean double petals in Thai and its spelling are Dok Zon or Dok Zorn.
