In present times, it is very necessary to be fit. The feel good, look good and living longer feeling is driving everybody’s attention and changing the minds of people.
One of the key factors to look good, feel good and live longer is to be fit. Fitness and exercise help you to achieve everything.

To make exercise a regular habit, one must be determined and committed.
Some people take exercise as a workout meant for athletes, body builders or models.
There is no age to start exercise; you are never too old or young.
One can surely benefit from physical activity irrespective of your age and gender.
Exercise when combined with a balanced and nutritious diet helps you a lot. Physical exercising helps you to be fresh and prevents illness.

Why to be physically fit?

Physical activity helps you to stay fit. The benefits of exercising and physical workout are many:

1. Improvement in health: Physical workouts and exercise helps you to reduce the level of cholesterol and increase the efficiency of heart. Lowered cholesterol levels help your body to maintain normal blood pressure and reduced risk of illness.
2. Well being: With physical workout, one can remain more energetic and cope up with stress in a better way.
3. Better look: Exercising is ought to bring about toned muscles. Weight loss is also one of the benefits of exercise which makes you look better and your appearance is improved.
4. Enhancement in social life: When you are fit, your image improves in your own eyes as well. You can meet people more confidently and make new friends.
5. Increase in stamina: With regular workout, your physical capabilities increase and you recover from injuries quickly as you have improved immunity for diseases.

Going immobile

When living in a mechanically mobile society, there is no physical activity. Very less percentage of jobs requires physical exertion these days. With such a scenario, it is really difficult to take some time from your daily routine for physical activity or get moving. What is required in present scenario is the initiative to get active. Getting active is the fitness formula of today. Regular physical workout of at least 30 minutes is what most health experts recommend. The physical workout may not be necessarily in gym, it could be just a brisk walk, cycling or swimming because use of muscles in any activity contributes to fitness of the body.

Consistency is the key to lifetime fitness. To help exercise make a hobby, following are the tips:
- Consider an activity that you enjoy,
- Decide your fitness level and make your program accordingly,
- Set goals that can be achieved,
- Choose an exercise according your lifestyle,
- Give your body proper time to adjust in accordance to your new routine,
- Don’t give up if you want results,
- Friends or relatives can help you in motivation, find a partner,
- Also take rest and consult a physician.

As said variety is the spice of life, one likes to experience different things. So, choose different types of exercise to prevent boredom.

To be fit, you should start working on your self. It’s never too late!!!
