Politics is the process by which individuals or relatively small groups attempt to exert influence over the actions of an organization. Although the term is most commonly applied to behavior within governments, politics is observed in many human (and many non-human) group interactions, including corporate, academic, and religious institutions.

First and foremost of all that has been written or said it is essential to draw attention to the fact that the Anti-Sikh Riots of 1984 was a catastrophic aberration, an earthquake that shook, mangled and tortured millions of people, not only in India but nearly the whole world.... -

If you work with or around asbestos and aren’t properly protected, there is a chance that prolonged exposure will leave you vulnerable to developing mesothelioma. Who Crippled Capitalism?
"Capitalism is dead," said Steven Brant of the Huffington Post. If it isn't, it is certainly badly injured. Financial markets are frozen. Credit has evaporated. It seems our economic system is teetering on the brink of collapse. Smith`s timing could not have been better, with the American colonies declaring their independence from Great Britain that same year. Democracy and free-market capitalism began their inexorable ascent, as did the politics of individualism.... -
If Al Gore had won
This article discusses both the 2000 and 2008 elections. Do you know that Katherine Harris deliberately stopped twenty thousand innocent people from voting? She stopped them from voting just because they had the same or similar names of felons. Half of those voters were black and they most likely would've voted for Gore. What she did was dirty pool and it's my opinion that she should be in jail.... -
Your Vote for America
I have been watching and listening to the Obama and McCain parties bash each other. I don't know why mud slinging is necessary; candidates should focus on their own campaigns and allow voters to arrive at their own conclusions. They don't need to tell us about the other candidate's shortcomings. Before November, voters need to insure they thoroughly research the candidates. The internet is a great... -
The Career in Politics
Why do candidates for Congress spend millions of dollars for an office that pays $169,200.00? Between 2004 and 2006, members of Congress' net worth increased an average of 84% - book advances, speaking engagements, stock and land deals, privileged mortgages, etc. The United States is no longer the representative democracy our founders conceived because of a glaring flaw in our Constitution...
