Southern California is such a wonderful place to call home. The average high temperature is almost 70 degrees in January, and many homeowners have pools because of the perfect weather most of the year. Pool owners love having family and friends over to enjoy their pool. It’s a wonderful way to entertain, like having all your friends over for a potluck. All you need for an instant party is for someone to bring the ice and beverages. People who don't have their own pool are always happy to bring along some food in exchange for a dip in your pool. Even relatives who don't swim will have no problem hanging out by the pool and keeping an eye on the kids as long as you provide them shade and keep the drinks coming.

On the other hand, there are several drawbacks to owning a pool. People might just traipse through your house and change their clothes in your bedroom or bathroom. It isn't so bad when they're dry, but isn't it awful when those swimmers go dripping through your house to change back into dry clothes? Don't you want a cabana so that they can change in there?

It isn't as hard or costly as it sounds. It's a lot more complex than just four walls and a roof. They’re many ways to change your typical shed into your dream cabana. Start with an eight by twelve shed. Imagine a tall peak, windows, a nice door, and an exterior that matches your home, including a matching tile roof. People can utilize this terrific space to change in and out of their swimsuits.

No longer just a place to keep your rake and lawnmower, customized sheds today serve a variety of uses. People are using these beauties for playhouses for the kids, home offices, and many other applications.

A woman who lived in northern California wished to add a room to her home. She needed more space for the workshops she did for her rubber stamp business, but an addition to her house was going to cost $30,000 just for the county building permit! This amount did not include any actual costs for construction either. Instead, she ordered a large shed with windows and air conditioning. It is adorable, and she is very happy with it. And what is remarkable is that it cost less than half of the money she would have spent on the building permit for a room addition.

Whether you need a small spot for your gardening tools or a space large enough for your motor home, a shed can fill all your needs. Make sure you go through a reputed company who can provide you with their customers' testimonials, a quality product, and a warranty. You'll be very happy with the outcome.

Unfortunately, that new shed won’t come with a cute pool boy. You’ll have to find him on your own.
